Commis Chef
Location: KIMS Hospital, Maidstone
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: 06:30-14:30 or 11:30-19:30 on a rota basis (Monday-Sunday)
Salary: £24,810 per annum (this is the equivalent of a full time salary of £26,464 per annum)

As a Commis Chef, you'll be part of a supportive team delivering high-quality meals to patients and staff. This role is ideal for someone passionate about food and customer service, who is eager to learn and progress in a stable, rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook menu items under the guidance of the Head Chef
* Support stock control and stock taking when required
* Help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of your section
* Deliver a prompt, friendly, and efficient service
* Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety
Who We're Looking For
Essential:
* Have experience in a food service customer-facing role
* Have good written and spoken English
* Have strong organisational skills
* Have good numeracy skills
Desirable:
* Hold a Food Hygiene Certificate
* Have a passion for food and excellent service
* Have the ability to plan ahead and use initiative
* Have experience working in a Kitchen environment
