Fantastic opportunity for an established Financial Controller or Finance Manager to join an ambitious and growing SaaS business on a part-time basis.

As they scale, they are looking for a commercially minded Financial Controller to oversee the company’s financial management and provide strategic financial guidance to support sustainable growth. You will collaborate closely with the Board and senior leadership to ensure financial integrity while aligning strategies with the company’s goals.
The role
* Track and analyze key KPIs.
* Partner with leadership on pricing models, unit economics, and growth forecasts.
* Provide financial modelling, support for fundraising, and board reporting.
* Prepare and present financial statements, ensuring compliance with standards.
* Lead budgeting, variance analysis, and cost optimization initiatives.
* Monitor cash flow, create forecasts, and ensure liquidity.
* Develop financial strategies in collaboration with senior leadership.
* Ensure tax compliance, manage audits, and stay updated on regulations.
* Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
* Handle monthly payroll and statutory deductions.
* Implement cost-saving measures to improve profitability.
* Optimize financial systems and reporting tools.
* Deliver financial reports to stakeholders and communicate complex data effectively.
* Work closely with the Executive team to evaluate operations.
The Candidate
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified with significant post-qualification experience.
* Alternatively, qualified by experience with sector-relevant 10+ years experience.
* Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role, preferably in SaaS or IT/Tech sectors.
* Strong stakeholder management skills.
* Proficiency in Excel and Xero (preferred).
* Comprehensive accounting experience including budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
