Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Immediate Start
Location: Westminister
Pay: £110 per day
Duration: 5 days per week, until the end of the academic year
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support a Year 9 student. This is a full-time position starting immediately and continuing until the end of the school year.
The student has emotional and learning difficulties and would greatly benefit from the support of a strong, positive male role model who can build a consistent and trusting relationship. Establishing rapport and providing stability will be central to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide consistent 1:1 support throughout the school day
* Support the student’s emotional regulation and promote positive behaviour
* Assist with access to the curriculum and encourage engagement in learning
* Build a strong, professional and supportive relationship with the student
* Work closely with teaching staff and the wider support team
Requirements:
* LSA strongly preferred to meet the specific needs of the student
* Proven experience working with children with emotional and learning difficulties is essential
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Patient, resilient, and able to remain calm under pressure
* Committed to making a positive impact on a young person’s school experience
