Join a leading financial services firm as a PMO on an initial 6-month contract. This role sits within a busy change function and focuses on improving project governance, quality, and controls across a varied portfolio of initiatives. Hybrid working model with 3 days in the office.
You will support multiple projects at the same time, working across complex programmes of work, and partner closely with project teams and senior stakeholders to provide practical support and constructive challenge to keep delivery on track and aligned to business priorities.
Key responsibilities include:
Tracking and reporting on the change portfolio, including risks, issues, and performance metrics
Providing governance, quality assurance, and PMO support across the project lifecycle
Analysing project data to produce clear insights for senior stakeholders
Supporting the development and standardisation of PMO processes and tools
Coaching teams on best practice in project delivery and governance
Requirements:
Proven experience working as a senior PMO within financial services
Strong analytical, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
Experience with project governance, risk management, and reporting
Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
