* Holds QTS, PGCE, or will be newly qualified in 2026
* Has strong subject knowledge in Religious Education, Philosophy or Ethics
* Can plan and deliver engaging lessons that encourage reflection, debate and open-mindedness
* Uses assessment and feedback effectively to support all learners
* Is reflective, resilient and committed to continuous professional development
An interest in pastoral care, enrichment projects, or running discussion clubs around philosophy, ethics or social issues would be advantageous.

The Role in More Detail
You will teach Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students explore philosophy, ethics and world religions through creative, inquiry-based lessons. You will foster a classroom environment where students feel confident to question, discuss and reflect on moral and cultural issues.
In addition to your classroom role, you will contribute to departmental planning, resource development and enrichment activities such as discussion forums, themed days and community projects. You’ll be supported every step of the way by a dedicated mentor and an experienced team that values collaboration and professional growth.
