Are you a highly organised individual with a flair for multitasking and a passion for creating smooth-running workplaces. We are looking to recruit a motivated individual to join our existing hard-working Facilities team. This role is key in supporting the delivery of high-quality facilities services across the council’s main offices in Havant.
The Facilities team covers a varied workload in the council such as Mayoral duties which include driving the Mayor of Havant to and from events, building maintenance and upkeep, receiving parcels on behalf of staff at the plaza, setting up meeting rooms, waste clearance, janitorial services, general support to building users and occasional office moves. These tasks will be undertaken on a rota basis.
We are looking for a driven Facilities Officer to join a small but busy team, someone who has proven experience in Facilities Management and dealing with internal and external customers, has great customer service skills and a positive attitude to getting the job done.
As this role supports all Council employees, strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work well as part of a team are essential to supporting the Council’s operational services. As a Facilities Officer, you can expect a varied working week, where multitasking and a positive, can-do attitude are key. You will play a vital role in ensuring that all Facilities Management matters are addressed promptly, efficiently, and with a friendly approach.
A full driving licence is required for this post.
