About The Role
We are now looking to recruit an additional Maintenance Facilities Operative within our Facilities team based at our site in Barton-upon-Humber. The candidate will be working 10 hour shifts, 4 on 4 off, rotating weekly from 06:00-16:45.
Main responsibilities:
* Carry out PPMs to set standards and update appropriate records
* Carry out minor mechanical, electrical (where qualified) and plumbing works
* Conduct unplanned maintenance tasks as and when requested by management team
* Inspect and troubleshoot equipment
* Check functionality of safety systems
* Adhere to all health, safety and environmental requirements (including risk assessments)
About You
Desired Skills and Knowledge:
* Ability to demonstrate experience of preventative maintenance activities
* Good working knowledge of machine maintenance and operation, and of computerised maintenance management systems
* Previous experience of mechanical, electrical and/or plumbing works, preferably within a facilities background
* Qualified to at least NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline e.g plumbing, joinery or carpentry
* IT literate with excellent communication skills
* Pro-active attitude
