The role
ACT Qualified Pharmacy Technician Required
We are seeking an experienced ACT Qualified Pharmacy Technician for a 6 month contract.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide ward-based pharmacy support to ensure the safe and effective use of medicines.
* Support the medicines reconciliation process and maintain accurate patient medication records.
* Liaise with pharmacists, nursing staff, and the wider multidisciplinary team to optimise patient care.
* Assist with the supply, ordering, and management of medicines on hospital wards.
* Use hospital systems, including Cerner and JAC, to update and maintain patient and medication information.
* Ensure compliance with NHS policies, medicines management procedures, and regulatory standards.
* Maintain accurate documentation and complete administrative tasks as required.
* Deliver a high standard of patient-focused care while working in a fast-paced ward environment.
Essential Requirements:
* ACT qualification
* Minimum 2 years' NHS ward experience
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Experience using hospital systems such as Cerner and JAC
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
