Salary: £7,513 per year (Full time equivalent £26,543 per year) with opportunities for progression

Join Wiltshire College & University Centre as a Wellbeing Advisor and play a vital role in supporting students’ emotional wellbeing, resilience, and ability to succeed.

What We Offer

Salary: £7,513 per year (Full time equivalent £26,543 per year) with opportunities for progression

Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time – 12 hours per week (hours will be worked over 2-3 days and will be discussed at interview), Term Time Only 36+2 weeks per year

Year-Round Employment: No unpaid breaks between contracts

What You’ll Do

• Provide confidential, one-to-one wellbeing support for students

• Help students manage emotional, mental health, and personal challenges

• Offer guidance, signposting, and referrals to internal and external support services

• Support students to build resilience, confidence, and coping strategies

• Work collaboratively with teaching teams, safeguarding, and student services

• Maintain accurate and confidential wellbeing records

What You’ll Bring

Experience working in a wellbeing, mental health, pastoral, or support-focused role

A strong understanding of student wellbeing, mental health, and safeguarding principles

Excellent communication, empathy, and listening skills

The ability to build trust and support students from diverse backgrounds

A relevant level 3 qualification in counselling, mental health, youth work, or wellbeing
