The home is situated in the village of Ferndale, close to local amenities and bus links to surrounding areas.
About Us:
We provide high-quality care for up to 20 individuals with dementia and general residential needs. We support residents in maintaining skills, encourage independence, and promote dignity and privacy. We respect individual choices and involve residents in activities and outings.
As a regulated service, our focus is on outcome-based care plans tailored to individual needs.
The role:
We are looking for reliable individuals with excellent communication skills who work well with others. Duties include domestic tasks, kitchen duties, and personal care of residents and service users.
You must be flexible and available at short notice to support the home during staff absences, including weekends and nights.
Previous experience with older adults or individuals with disabilities is advantageous. Successful candidates will be supported to complete the All Wales Induction Framework (AWIF) and register with Social Care Wales.
