Facilities Lead Officer
37 hours per week, Based in Preston, Lancashire
£32,000 per annum
This pivotal role ensures our workspaces are safe, efficient, and well-maintained, while overseeing the coordination of our vehicle fleet to support business needs.
What will you be doing in this role?
We're seeking a dynamic and proactive professional to lead and manage our facilities and fleet operations. The ideal candidate will bring operational expertise, and a passion for delivering high-quality service across all areas of facilities and fleet management.
What we are looking for:
* Someone with hands-on experience in facilities management with a good grasp of both the practical and people-focused sides of the job.
* A problem-solver who's always looking for ways to improve the teams service delivery.
* A great communicator who enjoys working with different teams and building strong relationships.
* A keen eye for health and safety, with up-to-date knowledge of building safety requirements.
It would great if you also had:
* An understanding of the social housing sector.
* Knowledge of managing vehicle fleets
Working Arrangements:
Your main workplace will be at our gorgeous dockside offices in Preston. You will also regularly visit other properties which the team manage across the city, therefore a driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use is essential.
