Project Manager – Facilities Management

Salary: £55,000 per annum (negotiable DOE)
Contract: 18‑month Fixed Term

About the Role
My client is seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to join their Facilities Management team for a fixed‑term period. Working in a busy and evolving setting, you will take the lead on planned projects and a variety of ad‑hoc works across the contract, ensuring that everything is delivered on schedule, within budget and to a high standard.
This role requires someone who is confident engaging with multiple stakeholders, comfortable managing complex information and capable of driving projects forward in a structured, methodical way.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage project budgets, ensuring all works are completed on time and within agreed financial limits.
* Plan, coordinate and oversee all projects within the plan, as well as additional tasks allocated by internal or external stakeholders.
* Prepare tender documentation and work alongside specialist consultants to procure suitable contractors for onsite works.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with senior stakeholders.
* Produce reports, analysis and documentation.
* Engage with clients early in the ideation stages to help shape project requirements.
* Manage major project works across the site, coordinating activity with relevant stakeholders.
* Review client requests, helping develop documentation to obtain competitive quotes from subcontractors.
* Evaluate contractor submissions and prepare quotations for client approval in line with required formats.
* Assess and compare supplier quotations, ensuring best value and alignment with project needs before submission.
* Maintain rigorous control of cost, quality and timelines through effective planning.
* Keep internal project trackers updated to ensure visibility and accuracy of information.
* Provide technical guidance to clients and teams, addressing issues and ensuring contractual compliance.
About You
You will be an experienced FM Project Manager with a background in delivering projects within complex or high‑demand environments. You will be resilient, adaptable and confident in dealing with changing priorities. Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder‑management skills are essential.
You will also bring:
* Experience monitoring site works, installations and measurements.
* Knowledge of Construction (Design & Management) Regulations (2015).
* Familiarity with standard contract forms
* Strong cost‑control and quality‑assurance experience
