Job Title: Agile Delivery Lead

Key Responsibilities:
A highly skilled delivery leader is required to provide expert guidance and support to 2-3 matrix managed teams, ensuring successful project delivery and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in agile methodologies, strong leadership skills, and excellent communication abilities.
About the Role:
The delivery lead will be responsible for leading sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure team alignment and continuous improvement. This will involve translating business strategy into actionable project roadmaps and delivery plans, working closely with product owners, stakeholders, and technical teams to define and prioritize product backlogs, and removing impediments and obstacles that prevent teams from achieving their sprint and project goals. Additionally, the delivery lead will implement and maintain agile metrics and reporting to track project progress and team performance, ensure effective communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, coach teams in agile best practices, manage and coordinate dependencies between different project streams, complete a minimum of 15 hours of continuous professional development annually, escalate complex issues to senior management when required, and work closely with all business areas including Product, Technology, Operations, Finance, and Strategy to ensure alignment and successful project delivery. Furthermore, the delivery lead will collaborate with leadership to develop and deliver strategies and organizational agile capabilities, keep senior management informed about project risks and key milestones, and engage with external partners and vendors to manage project interfaces and dependencies.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have an agile certification (e.g., PSM, PMP, SAFe), an extensive proven track record of successful agile delivery, exceptional leadership and coaching skills, strong communication and stakeholder management, advanced problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, strategic thinking and change management capabilities, a deep understanding of agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), knowledge of insurance and policy administration systems, and proficiency in Jira.
