Job Overview
Lead discovery, shape requirements, and drive digital change that strengthens NHS services for staff and improves outcomes for patients. This role is central to how we understand problems and shape the right solutions across our services, working with clinical and operational colleagues to uncover how things work today and identify opportunities to improve digital service support for care.
Responsibilities
* Take the lead in bringing structure to complex situations, turning insight into clear, actionable requirements and guiding delivery teams so improvements translate into real-world impact and better patient outcomes.
* Run workshops, challenge assumptions, create clarity where it’s missing and ensure solutions are well‑defined, user‑centred and embedded effectively into practice.
* Facilitate workshops, undertake business process modelling, support option appraisals and impact assessments, and translate operational needs into deliverable change requirements.
* Coordinate delivery activity, maintain documentation and governance artefacts, and act as a key link between operational and technical teams throughout the full project lifecycle.
* Support the delivery of organisational change initiatives by understanding current processes, defining business needs, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
* Build effective working relationships with stakeholders across services, facilitate workshops, manage expectations, and support new processes and ways of working.
Safeguarding and Compliance
* Safeguarding people responsibility: safeguarding children and adults at risk of abuse or neglect is a collective responsibility.
* All staff must develop and maintain safeguarding competencies and comply with local safeguarding partnerships practice.
* Staff must adhere to the code of conduct on confidentiality and comply with all Trust policies and procedures.
* This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exemptions) Order 1975 and Disclosure of Barring Service checks are required.
