Job Overview
* Protect customer property, people and/or assets by providing security services in accordance with the Assignment Instructions (AI’s) and any subsequent changes.
* Deliver results that meet or exceed key performance indicators / service level agreements, ensuring a service that helps retain the contract.
* Undertake additional training for continuous self‑development.
Main Duties
* Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, legal and regulatory requirements, and UK law as directed by the Security Account Manager.
* Fully and satisfactorily complete all tasks and duties on site as defined within the Assignment Instructions.
* Review the Assignment Instructions for changes and suggest amendments to improve the service level.
* Maintain required industry licences, including front‑line licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision) and CCTV PSS SIA licence, and renew them 16 weeks before expiry.
* Follow instructions and procedures appropriately without unnecessarily challenging authority.
* Work systematically, methodically and orderly.
* Use technology to achieve key work objectives and develop job knowledge through continual professional development.
* Report any health & safety hazards or potential risks immediately.
* Respond to threats or changes within the workplace to reduce disruption, loss or damage.
* Maintain professional conduct with challenging customers.
* Record incidents promptly in an accurate notebook entry as part of the incident report process.
* Adhere to scheduled check calls as stipulated in the Assignment Instructions.
* Call emergency services and the Communication Centre to report all incidents.
Qualifications
* Previous security experience.
* SIA licence.
* SC clearance desirable.
