Role: Drama Teacher
As a Drama Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students in their study of drama. You will support students in developing a well-rounded understanding of theatrical techniques, history, and performance. Your role will include:
* Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and meaningful Drama lessons to students of various age groups (KS3, KS4, KS5).
* Encouraging students to apply dramatic skills and creativity in various performances.
* Supporting students in their theatrical development, providing guidance and encouragement when needed.
* Collaborating with other members of staff to ensure a holistic approach to education.
* Contributing to the development of the Drama curriculum.
* Participating in the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Drama.
* Ensuring the effective delivery of the Drama syllabus.
* Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment within the Drama department.
Key Qualities We Are Looking For:
* A strong passion for Drama and a desire to support students' theatrical development.
* A recognized teaching qualification in Drama, or equivalent.
* Experience in teaching Drama to secondary-aged students is highly desirable.
* A passion for developing young people creatively and academically.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of an innovative and engaging team.
