Are you a highly experienced HR leader with a a proven track record in driving significant organisational change? We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and hands-on Transformational HR Director to join our organisation based in Newcastle on a fixed-term contract of 12-18 months.
The Role: Leading a Cultural and Organisational Shift
This is a pivotal, high-impact role where you will be tasked with modernising our people operations and embedding a high-performance culture across the entire organisation.
Day to day:
* HR Strategy & Transformation: Design and implement a comprehensive HR strategy that supports our ambitious commercial goals, focusing on cultural change, talent management, and organisational design.
* Culture & Values: Lead initiatives to define, communicate, and embed a new set of organisational values that promote inclusion, professionalism, and excellence throughout the organisation.
* Organisational Restructure: Review and redesign the current organisational structure to ensure optimal efficiency, clarity of roles, and alignment with the long-term vision.
* Policy & Process Modernisation: Oversee the review and upgrade of all core HR policies, procedures, and systems to ensure they are best-in-class, legally compliant, and support a modern, agile workforce.
* Talent & Performance: Implement robust performance management frameworks and develop strategies for talent acquisition and retention across both corporate and technical roles.
* Stakeholder Management: Act as a trusted advisor to the Managing Director and SLT on all strategic people matters.
Experience required:
* Experience: Significant experience (typically 8+ years) in a senior HR leadership role, preferably within a fast-paced or high-profile organisation.
* Transformation Expertise: A demonstrable track record of successfully leading major cultural and organisational change programmes from inception to delivery within a defined timeframe.
* Strategic Acumen: The ability to translate business objectives into effective HR strategies and drive execution at an operational level.
* Leadership & Communication: Exceptional influencing, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse and sometimes complex stakeholder groups
* Location: Willingness to be based in Newcastle for the duration of the contract.
