Operating from our Ripon headquarters, we support a vast network of DVSA-registered Driving Instructors across England, Scotland, and Wales. Our pupils learn to drive in premium Volkswagen tuition vehicles, and we are committed to delivering outstanding service at every stage of the learning journey.
The Role:
As a Pupil Bookings Agent, you will play a key role in ensuring a seamless booking experience for our pupils during our busiest time of the year. This is a 0-hour contract with flexible working days and core working hours from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM (weekdays only). Acting as the first point of contact, you'll manage enquiries, process bookings, and allocate pupils to instructors. With your excellent communication and organisational skills, you'll provide a professional, efficient, and friendly service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction:
* Promptly respond to customer enquiries via phone and email with professionalism and accuracy.
* Provide clear and helpful information about instructor availability, pricing, and services.
Sales-Oriented Bookings:
* Process enquiries efficiently, guiding customers from initial enquiry through to confirmed pre-payment.
* Ensure bookings are finalised accurately, including checking availability, processing payments, and allocating pupils to instructors.
Online Payment Handling:
* Manage online payments securely and in accordance with established procedures.
Customer Satisfaction:
* Resolve all customer queries by the end of each working day, maintaining a high standard of service.
* Redirect non-booking-related queries to relevant departments efficiently.
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience in a sales or customer service environment is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills, including excellent spoken and written English.
* Proficient in computer systems, email platforms, and text chat etiquette.
* Ability to multitask and handle multiple enquiries with efficiency and professionalism.
