About the role…
As a Commercial Graduate, you’ll step into a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you’ll build a strong foundation in commercial strategy and operations. Working within our Water & Infrastructure business, you’ll support experienced professionals on real projects from day one—gaining hands-on exposure to contract management, tendering, and commercial decision-making. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your commercial acumen, broaden your experience across multiple business areas, and play a key role in shaping the success of our projects.
As a Commercial Graduate you will…
* Run weekly and monthly reports, assist with data analysis, and maintain internal databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
* Support operations and finance teams with purchase orders and billing input into client systems, while ensuring invoices are raised correctly.
* Manage subcontractor onboarding by issuing PQQ questionnaires, facilitating their return for internal checks, and ensuring proper setup on internal systems.
* Hold review meetings with planners and project managers to assess WIP (Work in Progress), provide reports on outstanding items, and help resolve related queries.
* Chase payment approvals once processed and reconcile monthly remittances to maintain financial accuracy.
* Ensure all data is correctly inputted across systems and support the smooth flow of commercial information.
About you…
You’re a recent graduate in Business Management, Mathematics, Economics, or Quantity Surveying, ready to kick-start your career in a fast-paced commercial environment. With strong verbal and numerical reasoning, you’re confident working with data, interpreting insights, and supporting decision-making. You’re highly organised, detail-focused, and thrive under pressure—able to plan, prioritise, and meet tight deadlines. Comfortable with Microsoft Office and IT systems, you’re also a natural relationship-builder who enjoys working in a customer-focused setting.
