About the role:
1.
Identify and Cultivate New Business Opportunities:
* Proactively seek out new business opportunities within the construction and design community.
* Utilise market research and industry knowledge to identify potential clients and projects.
* Develop strategies to engage with prospects and convert leads into opportunities.
2.
Network Development within the Construction and Design Community:
* Build and maintain a strong network of contacts within the construction and design sectors.
* Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to expand the company's presence.
* Foster relationships with key stakeholders, architects, designers, contractors, and suppliers.
3.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
* Work closely with internal design, furniture, and bespoke teams to leverage collective expertise.
* Coordinate efforts to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet client needs.
* Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between departments to ensure seamless project execution.
4.
Sales Experience in Commercial Fit Outs:
* Demonstrate a proven track record in sales, particularly within the commercial fit-out sector.
* Utilise sales techniques and negotiation skills to close deals and secure contracts.
* Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to the unique needs of the business.
5.
Understanding of Construction Processes, Design Principles, and Industry Trends:
* Possess a strong understanding of construction processes, from project inception to completion.
* Stay abreast of design principles and industry trends to offer innovative solutions to clients.
* Use knowledge of industry dynamics to anticipate market shifts and adapt business strategies accordingly.
Rewards and Benefits:
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + Commission
21 days annual leave plus bank holiday

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, or related field (preferred).
* Proven experience in business development within the construction, design, or related industries.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
