Overview
A super full time Nanny position has arisen in Gloucestershire. The family are relocating to Cirencester in December and are looking for an experienced and safe pair of hands to help them care for their two children aged 2 years and 6 months (at time of starting). The eldest will be attending nursery some of the week, so most of your time will be in the care of the baby. Baby experience is essential and someone who is used to managing a busy home is key. Both parents work full time and may travel on occasion, so a Nanny with sole charge experience is a must.
Responsibilities
* Childcare for two children (primarily the baby)
* Weaning support
* Light household management
* Help the children settle into their new environment and support the family’s relocation
* Proactive socialising of the children (visits to local groups and activities, outings to parks)
* Be warm, proactive and flexible; ideally with experience in Montessori or gentle/respectful parenting
* Role may evolve as the family settles into the area; require adaptability and thoughtful approach
Position Details
* Location: Cirencester
* Hours: approx. 50 hours per week, with occasional overnight stays when both parents travel for work
* Live-in option available with own bedroom and bathroom within the family home
* Start date: 15 December
* Contract: Permanent
* Driving: Driver essential
* Salary: Up to £45,000 gross per annum (live out) and £33,800 gross per annum (live in)
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum 3 years in childcare (ideally as a nanny), with baby experience
* Paediatric first aid certification
* Level 3 in childcare or above preferred
* Sole charge experience and ability to manage a busy home
