Purpose of the role:
Accountable for leading the UK Field based sales team to drive sales and recruitment to meet and exceed the company field targets
Responsible for the performance of field team, under the direction of the UK Market Sales Lead, and providing support and training to ensure they are skilled to deliver on all field KPIs.
Be the ‘voice’ and ‘face’ of Oriflame within the UK & IRE, especially representing the field sales force, within Head Office and the Corporate view to the Field
Influence development and delivery of all communication, training, incentives with the field, to ensure it is fit for purpose for the consultants.
Assist with Oriflame strategic planning, budgeting, KPI targets, goal setting and sales/budget attainment.
Responsible for ensuring the Head Office and UK Market Sales Lead are fully up to date on all activities and Issues.
What will you do?
Field Team:
* Accountable for managing, motivating and influencing the field leaders to reach their full potential and maintain the required level of sales, activity and growth
* Work regularly with the leaders to optimise their business through effective coaching and development meetings.
* Ensure that the Field team morale and motivation is positive, and they are clear on the role of self-employed Brand Partners and Leaders.
* Seek new opportunities to induct new starters into the company and sales teams with specific training and business support where appropriate.
* Deliver the corporate messages to the field teams and manage the feedback including to ensure the brand message and image is maintained to company standards
* Act as liaison between Head Office and Field Management to ensure resolution of issues and lessons learnt and provide feedback that can be effectively used in Head Office
* Has responsibility for all the wider sales team in terms of communication, adherence to the company guidelines and overall performance.
* Full responsibility for delivering the overall recruitment targets and sales performance.
Responsibilities with training
* Work alongside the Training Manager to deliver specific meaningful training modules that provide fundamental skills applicable to the business ensuring that the team have the skills to deliver the visions and that it also delivers an ROI.
* Influence and support to deliver a comprehensive annual, monthly and weekly plan to support developing the businesses of the Field Sales teams.
Corporate Accountabilities:
* Represent the field view in all event planning meetings to ensure the needs of the channel are met.
* Working with the Support office team to ensure that all communications are delivered appropriately
* Partner with the Sales/Marketing Directors and Training Manager to deliver Company Conferences and other corporate events as necessary ensuring the content meets the business needs
* Regularly lease with the Heads of Departments, and the UK Market Sales Lead to update on the field business plans, progress on sales and recruitment, team motivation/activities, and any issues.
* Guide and influence sales promotions attend planning meetings and integrate sales promotions and event planning effectively to ensure implementation success
* Weekly analysis of all sales and performance data
* Monitor and maintain necessary budgetary controls for Sales activities
Other
Commercially control spend within your specific remit, working creatively and in a SMART way to reduce both overall costs whilst increasing efficiency.
To perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
Responsible for maintaining the ethical standards and values of Oriflame including minimising the environmental, health and safety risks in the workplace and responsible for reporting potential risks, real accidents and near misses to relevant managers.
Your background and your qualifications:
Strong and robust proven sales experience within a Direct Selling business is essential, preferably with a mix of experience in both a retail environment
Experience of and good understanding of the recruitment of consultants and have recruited and inducted new people into organisations
Desirable to have worked in the beauty industry but not essential
Robust people management in complex structures that can demonstrate ability to flex and adapt style, communicate at all levels
