We have a requirement for a Recruitment Business Partner to join a busy team leading on the provision of a proactive recruitment business partnering model with key divisions.This role is initially a temporary contract Via Hays until end of October but has scope for longer with success.In this role, you will provide strategic and operational recruitment expertise to support our hiring managers in attracting, selecting, and retaining top talent.You will play a key role in delivering an efficient, inclusive, and effective recruitment service that aligns values.As a Recruitment Business Partner you will be focussed on modernising and improving experience for all parties across the recruitment cycle.Areas the team are focusing on: -
1. ATS Optimisation
2. Attraction Strategy
3. Professionalising the service
4. Improving MI
5. Reducing time to hire
6. Enhancing candidate experience
The role will also involve line managing Recruitment Officers and Recruitment Assistants, ensuring the team delivers a high-quality service to colleagues.Key Responsibilities:
7. Line manage and support Recruitment Officers and Recruitment Assistants, ensuring a high-performing and motivated team.
8. Partner with hiring managers across departments to understand recruitment needs and develop tailored talent acquisition strategies.
9. Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
10. Optimise the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to improve recruitment efficiency and enhance user experience.
11. Support workforce planning initiatives and ensure recruitment aligns with the council’s strategic goals.
12. Improve management information by analysing recruitment data and providing insights and reports to key stakeholders.
13. Drive initiatives to reduce time to hire and streamline recruitment processes.
14. Ensurepliance with all relevant employment legislation, policies, and equality and diversity frameworks.
15. Collaborate with HR colleagues on onboarding, retention, and talent development initiatives.
Person Specification:Essential:
16. Proven experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or as a Recruitment Business Partner.
17. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and advise hiring managers.
18. Experience in line managing and upskilling recruitment teams, including Recruitment Officers and Assistants.
19. Experience in designing and implementing effective sourcing and selection methodologies.
20. Ability to manage multiple recruitment campaigns within a fast-paced environment.
21. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present recruitment data.
22. Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills.
23. Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment technology
Desirable:
24. Previous experience in public sector or localernment recruitment.
25. CIPD or equivalent HR/Recruitment qualification.
Offer
26. Initial contract working via Hays on a timesheet basis starting on 18th of September through to end of October and then scope for longer
27. 3–4 days per week on site in Southampton
28. PAYE including holiday pay or umbrellapany
