Job summary This is an extremely exciting opportunity for Band 4 Recovery Trainer within the Recovery and Wellbeing CollegeThe Recovery and Wellbeing College is the first co - produced, peer led service in the NHS in Wales and sits within Mental Health services. The College offers an educative setting for our students who include service users, people with lived experience, family members, carers and professionals, to develop knowledge and skills to support with mental health challenges and overall wellbeing. The 3 guiding principles of the College are hope, control and opportunity and these are fundamental elements of both peer support and co - production. The successful candidate will work within the Recovery College to promote, develop and embed the principles of recovery orientated practice across the organisation, assist in the co-production of design and delivery of a range of recovery focussed courses and workshops for our students.This role will involve undertaking one to one individual learning appointments to help students identify and overcome any specific learning challenges and discuss their specific goals in relation to their involvement with the Recovery and Wellbeing College. This will also involve an awareness and use of Health & Wellbeing plans across all sectors within the College.The role will involve intentionally sharing the knowledge from own lived experience, inspiring. hope and belief in others that recovery is possible.
