Daily Senior Head Housekeeper / House Manager – Kensington – £75,000–£85,000 DOE
We are looking for an exceptional Senior Head Housekeeper / House Manager to join a prestigious yet warm and informal VIP household in Kensington, Central London.
This is a long-term, full-time position offering the chance to work in a beautifully maintained home for a respectful, busy family. The role combines hands-on excellence with team leadership and high-level household management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a team of 3 experienced housekeepers
* Ensure the seamless daily running of a large family home
* Provide 5-star front-of-house and food & beverage service
* Liaise with the principals and their children to meet all lifestyle needs
* Maintain impeccable standards of presentation, cleanliness, and discretion
* Coordinate effectively with other household staff and external suppliers
* Step in with hands-on housekeeping when required and lead by example
The Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience as a Chief Stewardess in private yachting or as a Head Housekeeper / Junior House Manager in a VIP household
* Polished, professional, and naturally personable
* Fluent in English with outstanding communication and service skills
* Highly discreet, proactive, and solutions-focused
* Confident working in a household with children
* Flexible to travel occasionally with the family
* Comfortable working 5 days a week, with flexibility for a 6th day when required
Salary & Benefits:
* £75,000–£85,000 per annum (dependent on experience
