Who we’re looking for
We’re keen to hear from qualified primary teachers with QTS who are confident teaching across the primary age range and able to adapt to different school environments.
What you’ll be doing
Delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum and maintaining a positive learning environment
Supporting pupils to stay focused, motivated, and engaged throughout the school day
Following school plans or adapting lessons where needed to meet the needs of the class
Taking on flexible roles from daily cover to short-term and long-term placements
Stepping into welcoming schools where your teaching makes an immediate impact
Where
Opportunities available across North Yorkshire, including Whitby, Scarborough, Pickering, Malton, and surrounding areas.
When
Flexible opportunities available immediately whether you’re looking for a few days each week or regular ongoing work.
How much
£140–£200 per day, depending on experience.
Essential requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
Recent experience working in UK primary schools
A positive, proactive attitude and strong classroom management
Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly
