The team is responsible for identifying, crafting, and designing data solutions that leverage Bloomberg’s proprietary analytics and industry‑leading private markets data. This requires an in‑depth understanding of private markets data across various asset classes, including Private Equity, Private Debt, Infrastructure and Real Estate, as well as the intricacies of sourcing, data feeds/APIs, and corresponding target client segments.
What is the role?
Build a strategic product roadmap and measure progress towards the long‑term vision for Private Markets Data. Work as an integral part of the collaborative leadership team of seasoned product managers, engaging key stakeholders across the entire range of Enterprise Data products and solutions. Deliver strong judgment, execution, coordination, collaboration, communication, and implementation, fostering relentless data‑business growth.

* Product Strategy: Build and execute a strategic product roadmap for Private Markets Data, ensuring alignment with Bloomberg’s overall growth strategy. Lead a collaborative effort across teams to innovate and expand product offerings.
* Client‑Centric Solution Design: Utilize deep knowledge of private markets and alternative assets to identify client needs and build data solutions that provide a competitive edge. Engage directly with clients to understand their challenges and collaborate on scalable solutions.
* Agile Product Management: Deliver incremental releases and phased roadmap with clear business outcomes. Lead in product strategy and agile development to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
* Enterprise Data Expertise: Develop deep understanding of Bloomberg’s content and tools, enabling clients to deepen interaction and usage of data.
* Data Analytics & Technical Proficiency: Apply data analysis, forecasting, and basic programming (Python) to develop data‑driven strategies and enhance product offerings.
You Will Need To Have
* Proven experience in product management or equivalent, especially in private markets data or alternative assets.
* Deep understanding of private market asset classes (Private Equity, Private Credit, Infrastructure, Real Estate, and Hedge Funds) and expertise in at least two of them.
* Deep knowledge of client cohorts including GPs, LPs, and service providers, and target audiences for private markets data products.
* Demonstrated expertise in private markets and comprehensive understanding of investing processes and data needs across deal stages.
* Commercial acumen with a record of growing a data business focused on data feeds and APIs.
* Strong leadership skills and experience leading high‑performing teams.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
