Responsibilities
As an ADHD Specialist Independent Prescriber you will:
Deliver evidence-based prescribing and medication management for adults with ADHD, in line with national guidelines and clinical policies.
Manage a defined caseload through the titration and ongoing treatment phases.
Conduct End of Titration Reviews and annual medication reviews.
Communicate with patients via secure digital platforms, providing supportive and professional guidance.
Monitor treatment effectiveness, assess risks and escalate safeguarding concerns when appropriate.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical records using digital systems.
Contribute to clinical governance, audits, quality improvement and service development.Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will:
Be a qualified clinician with Independent Prescribing rights (e.g. V300 or equivalent) and registered with NMC or GPhC.
Have experience in the management of ADHD, including prescribing, titrating and monitoring medication.
Demonstrate strong clinical judgement, excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously within a digital care model.
Have sound understanding of clinical governance and safeguard practice in mental health settings.
Be confident using digital healthcare platforms and maintaining high standards of record keeping.Benefits & Perks
