Position Overview As a Therapist you will provide individual, group, family and/or couples therapy and collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive treatment to the client and their family. Schedule Monday-Friday (8:00 am-5:00 pm) On-call phone rotation as assigned Location Douglas Residential Treatment Center for Adults 615 Douglas Street, Suite 500, Durham, NC, 27705 Click here to learn more about our Douglas Treatment Center How Therapists Empower Recovery Conducts individual, group, and/or family therapy sessions with the client and their family/ community of support utilizing evidence-based treatments Develops, implements, and monitors individualized treatment plans Participates in therapeutic supported meals Participates in treatment team meetings by reporting client and family assessment findings and response to interventions Conducts intake evaluations Assists with milieu management as needed Generates discharge plans by making treatment and other recommendations, and coordinating next level of care services Collaborates with Accanto and community professionals, and community agencies to coordinate next level of care services and maintain continuity of care Therapist II may provide clinical supervision as needed and appropriate based on licensure Qualifications Master's degree in a behavioral sciences related field and Independent licensure or working toward independent licensure Active Clinical Licensure in the state of North Carolina Open to Associate and Independently licensed Therapist and Social Workers Individual, family, or group psychotherapy experience preferred DBT, CBT, FBT experience preferred Eating Disorders treatment experience preferred Educational Opportunities As a national leader in eating disorder treatment, we are committed to encouraging career growth and providing our staff with robust clinical education.
