Job Title: After-School Dance Teacher (Primary)

Hours: 3:30-4:30pm
Position Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Dance Teacher to lead engaging after-school dance classes for primary school students. The ideal candidate will foster a fun, safe, and inclusive environment where children can explore movement, develop coordination, and build confidence through dance.
Key Responsibilities
· Plan and deliver age-appropriate dance lessons for students aged 6-11 years.
· Encourage creativity, teamwork, and self-expression through movement activities.
· Prepare students for small showcases or end-of-term performances when applicable.
· Ensure a safe and supportive class environment by monitoring student behavior and maintaining discipline.
· Communicate with parents, guardians, and program staff about student progress and participation.
· Set up and pack away equipment as needed.
· Adhere to school policies, including safeguarding and child protection procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
· Experience teaching dance to children in a school or community setting.
· Knowledge of child development and ability to adapt lessons for mixed-ability groups.
· Strong classroom management and communication skills.
· Energetic, patient, and passionate about inspiring a love for dance.
· Dance-related qualification or certification preferred.]
