Job Description
Role: Deputy Manager (Children’s Residential)
Location: Herne Bay, Kent
Salary: £38,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
We’re looking for a passionate Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in running a children’s home for children with complex emotional and behavioural needs. You’ll lead and mentor staff, ensure high-quality child-focused care, maintain accurate records, and uphold safeguarding and Ofsted standards.
What we’re looking for:
* NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
* Experience as a Deputy Manager in residential childcare
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding, legislation, and Ofsted standards
* Motivated, resilient, and ambitious to progress to Registered Manager
