Basic Salary: £31,151.66 - £37,949.69 per annum (Dependent upon experience)

Are you ready to make a real difference? We’re on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Full-Time Senior/Supervising Social Worker to join our vibrant team at Foster Care Associates. This is your chance to help develop and promote fostering services in the Yorks & Lincs area while working in a supportive and flexible environment. Our office is based in Melton, and we embrace a hybrid working model, allowing you to balance office and home work. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit foster parents and children in their homes, making a meaningful impact in their lives.

Your Responsibilities
* Support foster parents and their families to achieve outstanding outcomes for all children and young people in foster care.
* Supervise, support, and monitor the suitability and competence of foster parents, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
* Ensure foster parents understand their roles, responsibilities, and the standards expected of them.
* Provide regular supervision to allocated foster parents in line with FCA's Operational Standards.
* Collaborate with the foster family and child’s network to identify needs such as respite, activities, and therapy.
* Maintain compliance with documentation for each child and foster parent.
* Attend meetings and provide reports for Commissioning Teams regarding individual care packages.
* Encourage participation of children/young people in agency development and community resources.
* Participate in an 'out of hours' support service on a rota basis.
* Conduct occasional initial home visits and Form F Assessments.
What You Bring
* A Social Work qualification.
* Professional registration with Social Work England or equivalent.
* Proven ability to produce high-quality reports.
* A comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and child safeguarding procedures.
* Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the Yorkshire/Humberside/Lincs area.
* Confidence in transporting children and young people in challenging situations.
* A full driving licence.
