Join a leading independent technology and services provider as a Technician 2 – Onsite Deployment Engineer!


Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Technician 2 to support a deployment project at Client location. This is a hands-on role involving scheduling, preparation, and customer assistance during device refresh activities.


Location: Glasgow PA4 9AF

Daily Rate: An hourly rate, in-scope IR35, of £ 14.54(PAYE) OR £18.87 (via a Hays Approved Umbrella Company).

Contract Length: ASAP – 31-Dec-2025

Shift Pattern: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:30


Key Responsibilities

* Review Inventox scheduling software for daily deployment users.
* Print schedules and related documents; prepare user folders with “how-to” guides.
* Organize deployment area daily (computers, pens, paperwork, signage).
* Conduct deployment meetings, explain processes, and distribute computers.
* Maintain accurate logs of computer allocations and handle changes if needed.
* Provide basic assistance on hardware, software, and data transfer queries.
* Ensure old equipment is collected and accounted for.
* Track AM and PM deployment cycles and wrap up daily operations securely.
