We’re expanding our Housing – Trades & Labour Division and are looking for a driven Recruitment Consultant to take ownership of a thriving market. About the Opportunity This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, successful team within one of the UK’s leading specialist recruitment agencies. You’ll inherit a live, revenue-generating desk with established client relationships and frameworks already in place, providing a solid foundation to build from day one. The Role As a Recruitment Consultant, you’ll be responsible for: Managing and growing relationships with clients across Local Authorities, Housing Associations, and private sector firms. Sourcing and placing skilled Trades & Labour professionals across the Midlands and Southwest. Developing new business through proactive outreach and account management. Managing the full recruitment cycle — from advertising and candidate screening to client liaison and aftercare. Working towards realistic targets with full autonomy to shape and grow your desk. The Market & Potential You’ll be joining a high-performing market with: Established frameworks including MSP Contracts A strong existing client base On average, 15 live vacancies per month and 2–3 permanent roles per quarter. Previous consultants consistently achieving success including Top Biller and Top Perm awards. Ideally, you will have: Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant or in a role with transferable skills such as Sales, Customer Service, etc. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
