Your new company We are working with aclient based in Rochdale that deal in supply chain solutions for companiesacross the UK. They are looking for a part time Accounts Assistant to jointheir team. The role is a total of 22.5 hours per week and can be split over 3,4 or 5 days per weekYour new roleAs theAccounts Assistant you will support the Finance Officer with;
* Production of weeklyaccounts
* Month end procedures,including balancing costs reports
* Support Operators withtheir understanding of the operation cost drivers
* Support the operationsteam on capturing all stats and non-finance info to input into theaccounts
* Assisting with periodBalance Sheet reconciliations
* Weekly & monthlyJournal creation & postings
What you'll need to succeedYou willhave:
* Previousexperience in accounts, purchase ledger and sales ledger
* Knowledge of theOracle (Desirable)
* Proficient in Excel
* Ability to workindependently and as part of a team
* Excellent verbal andwritten communications
