Responsibilities
* Model and deliver consistently outstanding maths teaching.
* Support staff development through coaching, mentoring, and CPD.
* Drive improvement in teaching, learning, and student progress across the department.
* Lead on curriculum design, assessment, and lesson planning.
* Monitor and analyse data to inform strategy and intervention.
* Collaborate with school leadership on whole-school priorities.
* Promote a culture of high expectations, inclusion, and academic ambition.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Key, QTS and a degree in Mathematics or a related field (essential).
* Extensive teaching experience in secondary education (KS3-KS5 preferred).
* A proven record of strong student outcomes and innovative practice.
* Experience mentoring or coaching other teachers (preferred).
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Passion for maths education and evidence-based teaching strategies.
* A commitment to safeguarding and raising achievement for all learners.
