Job responsibilities To support the Lead Pharmacist with issues relating to pharmaceutical care within the Business Group To give advice on complex Medicines Information queries to prescribers, patients and carers and other healthcare personnel Advising medical and nursing staff on the actions, properties and the safe cost effective use of medicines. To co-ordinate and deliver the clinical pharmacy services to wards in accordance with agreed objectives To be able to plan and organise own and others workload To be able to prioritise and meet set deadlines particularly when under pressure. To act as tutor for the pre-registration trainees when they are working on the ward To manage technicians and band 6 pharmacists when working on the wards The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and promote safeguarding by implementing the Trusts policies and procedures, acting promptly on concerns, communicating effectively and sharing information appropriately. If successful this vacancy will require an enhanced DBS check at a cost of £41.50.
