Secondary School Cover Supervisors – South Birmingham (B14 area). Daily, Short-Term and Long-Term Roles Available.
Connex Education are seeking enthusiastic and confident Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools located in the B13 area of South Birmingham, close to Kings Heath and Moseley. These roles are ideal for candidates based in South Birmingham as schools are easily accessible from these areas.
We have a variety of opportunities available, including daily supply, short-term cover, and longer-term placements.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive learning environment, ensuring students remain on task with the work set by their usual teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or anyone with experience working with young people to gain valuable classroom experience. Pay rates available per day are between £85-£110 PAYE per day depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervising lessons across different subjects in secondary schools.
* Managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment.
* Supporting students to complete pre-prepared work.
* Following school policies and procedures effectively.
Requirements
* Experience working with young people (in education, youth work, coaching, or similar).
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
* A positive, professional and flexible approach.
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
