The Multinational team help with the selling of products and services across different countries and regions around the world. Internationally based organisations find sourcing IT to be more complex compared to companies operating in one country or region. This is because of various factors such as local regulations, cultural differences, language barriers, currency exchange rates and logistics. Softcat is a leading technology Value-Added Reseller (VAR), currently ranked as the #1 IT Reseller in the United Kingdom. Following its incredible success in the European market, Softcat is looking to develop its presence and capabilities in the US.



Support Softcat's Multinational Drive

You will work alongside our UK&I Global Account Managers, playing a crucial role in proactively finding, driving and closing business across the EMEA region (outside of the UK&I) within some of Softcat's key Global customers. This role requires a highly motivated and driven individual, with at least 1 year of Softcat Sales Experience (AM or Technical Specialist).

As Sales Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

* You'll be aligned to some of Softcat's largest accounts, responsible for all business within the EMEA region
* Working collaboratively with our Global Account Managers, Technical Specialists and Multinational Specialists from other regions on both local and global projects
* Work with vendors and distributors to maximise GP through various deal registration programmes and bid requests
* Become a true regional specialist, able to articulate complexities of doing business across the EMEA region compared to the UK, including cultural nuances, supply chain differences, tax regulations, etc
* Collaborate with internal departments, such as procurement and logistics, to ensure the smooth execution of sales orders

* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Sales proficiency including pipeline & target management
