An excellent primary school in Kingston is seeking a motivated Year 4 Teacher to take up post in January 2026. The Year 4 Teacher will teach well-sequenced lessons that secure progression in reading, writing and mathematics, lead focused interventions and contribute to the year-group curriculum. Responsibilities Plan and teach sequenced Year 4 lessons that develop knowledge, skills and independence. Lead targeted small-group support informed by assessment and monitor impact on progress. Work with TAs to provide effective scaffolding and differentiated tasks. Participate in moderation and curriculum development across the Kingston school. Communicate with parents and carers about progress and engage them in learning activities. Person specification Qualified teacher with demonstrable Year 4/KS2 experience and strong classroom practice. Excellent organisational skills, subject knowledge and a reflective approach to improvement. Enthusiastic team player committed to the Kingston school community and available to start January 2026.
