Your new role As Production Floor Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing daily operations within a further processing environment, ensuring production runs safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. You will lead and motivate production teams across multiple lines, coordinating staffing, managing output and ensuring operational targets are consistently achieved. Working closely with quality, maintenance and logistics colleagues, you will help ensure smooth workflow from intake through to dispatch. Health, safety and hygiene will be central to everything you do, with responsibility for maintaining full compliance with HACCP, GMP and company procedures, while also contributing to continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, waste reduction and product quality. What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this role, you will bring prior experience in a supervisory or team leading position within food production or a fast paced FMCG environment. You will have a strong understanding of food safety, HACCP and health and safety regulations, along with the ability to lead people confidently on the production floor. Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a hands on leadership style will be essential, as will the ability to remain calm and organised in a busy operational setting. You will be comfortable with production documentation, basic systems and working flexibly to meet business demands as required.
