About the role
Availability windows: Thursday 05:00‑13:30, Friday 05:00‑12:00, Saturday 05:00‑13:30. Minimum 16 hours per week, 12‑hour roles available. Shift Lead pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. Additional payments may apply.
Responsibilities
- Lead the team to deliver a great experience for customers in‑store.
- Work across all areas of the store and support colleagues on day‑to‑day operational queries.
- Build positive, inclusive relationships that help colleagues perform at their best.
- Confidently lead the store in the Manager’s absence.
- Make balanced, flexible decisions and adapt well to change.
- Coach colleagues, give feedback and role‑model great service.
- Stay curious and seek opportunities to serve our customers, communities, and planet a little better every day.
Qualifications
- Must be over 18 years old.
- Experience in a team‑lead or management role in a fast‑paced retail environment.
- Strong role‑model with a passion for delivering great service and ensuring customers’ needs are met.
- Build positive, long‑lasting relationships to create an inclusive, supportive team environment.
- Clear communicator, using a variety of methods to keep the team well‑informed.
- Natural leader who motivates and inspires the team to deliver outstanding results.
