About the Role
We're looking for a Lead Maintenance Engineer to take a key role within our growing team. This is a practical, on-the-tools position where you'll oversee maintenance, installations, and repairs across domestic properties, while supporting and mentoring a small team of plumbers, electricians and gas engineers.
You'll be the technical lead for fault-finding and complex issues, ensuring that all work meets high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate day-to-day maintenance and service activities.
Diagnose and repair faults across electrical, plumbing, and heating systems .
Install, maintain, and upgrade systems and associated equipment.
Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations.
Provide hands-on technical support, mentoring, and guidance to team members.
Liaise directly with customers to deliver excellent service and clear communication.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in both electrical and plumbing/heating disciplines.
Recognised qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
18th Edition Wiring Regulations and 2391-52 Test & Inspection certification preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Full UK driving licence.
A proactive, safety-conscious approach with excellent attention to detail.
