Health Innovation West of England is one of 15 organisations in the Health Innovation Network (HIN), commissioned by NHS England to support the adoption and spread of innovations within organisations across our geographic footprint. The HIN has two other commissions: from NHS England to run local Patient Safety Collaboratives, and from the Office of Life Sciences to operate local Innovation Exchanges. Within Health Innovation West of England, we have a Programme Delivery directorate with functions focusing on Deployment Evaluation and Insights, and Innovation & Growth, with a separate directorate for Corporate Services. Health Innovation West of England is hosted by Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust; however, the organisation operates autonomously with its own Managing Director and executive team, and a Board with membership from our partner organisations across the West of England.
The Maternity and Neonatal Clinical Lead sits within the Deployment Team, with the primary aim of supporting delivery of various programmes within the Patient Safety Commission under the guidance of the Medical Director.
We are an NHS organisation and employment with our Health Innovation is through the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust. With headquarters in Filton, Bristol, we support agile working including the opportunity to work from home, and welcome applications from those seeking remote working opportunities. Travel to office bases or occasionally to other locations within our geography and nationally for in-person meetings and events may be required.
We value a diverse workforce and welcome applications from varied backgrounds and experiences to bring different perspectives and ideas, supporting transformational innovations and population representation.
