What You’ll Do:
* Oversee daily operations, ensuring a welcoming and seamless experience for customers and staff.
* Manage stock levels, from plants and seeds to barbecues and garden decor, maintaining quality and variety.
* Lead and motivate a dedicated team, fostering a positive culture and delivering top-notch training.
* Drive sales through creative displays, seasonal promotions, and outstanding customer service.
* Maintain a safe, tidy, and attractive centre, including planteria, indoor displays, and facilities.
* Monitor budgets, pricing, and financial performance to meet business goals.
* Build strong supplier relationships to secure high-quality, sustainable products.
* Stay ahead of gardening trends to offer expert advice and innovative solutions.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in retail management, ideally within a garden centre or horticultural setting.
* Strong horticultural knowledge and a passion for plants and gardening.
* Leadership skills to inspire and manage a diverse team.
* Commercial acumen with experience in budgeting, stock control, and sales strategies.
* Excellent customer service skills and a knack for creating engaging retail experiences.
* Familiarity with seasonal demands and sustainable practices in gardening.
* IT and stock management skills to keep operations running smoothly.
