Ensure the safe and timely movement of equipment, specimens, medical gases, waste, supplies, and other key items, maintaining compliance with infection control, COSHH, and health & safety standards.
Monitor, report, and improve performance against KPIs and SLAs, conducting regular audits and implementing service improvements where required.
Manage departmental budgets, equipment maintenance, and resource utilisation, identifying opportunities for efficiency savings and improved service delivery.
Build strong relationships with clinical teams, estates, security, and external contractors, acting as the main point of contact for portering and waste‑related issues.
