Regulatory Officer - Chemicals

Salary - £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience

SRG is working with a leading manufacturer of speciality chemicals. Recently, the company has created a new regulatory role to join the team on a permanent basis. The role would suit someone with a proven track record of compliance with REACH and other chemical regulations. This would be a great opportunity for someone with previous experience in the chemicals sector to step into a role where they'll be the main point of contact for regulatory compliance in the business. Role Description
Ensuring regulatory compliance with various chemical regulations, such as, REACH, CLP, GHS, OSHA, TSCA, FDA, ISO 14001
Coordinating all regulatory and product stewardship related practices within the business
Maintaining and updating safety data sheets (SDS's)
Conducting risk assessments relating to hazardous materials
Working closely with external agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure all regulatory requirements have been met
Requirements
A strong understanding of the chemicals regulatory landscape and requirements for manufactured products
Significant recent experience working with REACH and SDS's
An understanding of CLP, GHS, TSCA and OSHA would also be highly advantageous
Willing to commute to the Northamptonshire area on a hybrid basis
