We are looking for an Intelligence Shift Officer to join our dynamic team working across a 24/7 operational environment. This role offers the opportunity to develop strong customer service skills while collaborating with colleagues in HMRC and other government agencies including the National Crime Agency, Home Office, and Police.
Job Description
This position requires leadership skills to manage a team responsible for managing collaboration, processing intelligence information, and supporting investigations. The role combines technical expertise with people management, requiring the ability to make decisions under pressure while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance. You will be responsible for triaging incoming intelligence, delegating tasks appropriately, providing technical guidance, and ensuring quality service delivery while developing team members' capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
This shift post attracts an Annual Attendance Allowance of 27.57%, paid in addition to the basic salary to account for the 24/7 working pattern.
Security Vetting
National Security Vetting (NSV) at Security Check and Non-Police Persons Vetting level 3 (NPPV3) is essential for this role. The job offer will be conditional on passing both NSV at Security Check clearance level and NPPV3. If you do not hold or cannot obtain these, the offer will be withdrawn.
