The role - Process Development Engineer
We have a unique opportunity for a competent CNC Process Development Engineer to come in and join a busy aerospace engineering company.
This will be a package of work specifically related to Operator process development including methods planning and work instruction creation.
You will need to have experience in the use of and navigation through Solumina – A specific Manufacturing Execution System utilised by this company.
Responsibilities
* Help write and manage work instructions that the shop floor machinists use.
* Methods planning and work instruction creation.
* Input instructions into Solumina (Manufacturing Execution System).
* Supporting wider Manufacturing Support team where necessary.
* Data extrapolation and complex process breakdown.
Background / Qualifications
* Mechanical/Precision Engineering qualifications
* Competent in the use of Solumina (Manufacturing Execution System)
* Exposure and use of SAP (ERP System)
* Understanding of Machine shop fundamentals including CNC.
