We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our ambitious Academy team as a Operational Technical Skills Advisor, where you’ll play a vital role in helping us grow our talent! EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW As the Operational Technical Skills Advisor, you will lead and manage the technical skills frameworks for Operators, Maintainers, and Senior Technicians in Bioresources, Water Treatment, and Waste Water Recycling. This role ensures key activities and processes meet our operational commitments and support teams in their competency development. You'll have the chance to innovate and improve the framework, working with people at all levels to uphold our high standards. Further Responsibilities Include Chair Governance and Steering Groups, ensuring cohesive operation and timely communication of changes. Facilitate agreement on changes to different frameworks, maintaining quality standards. Ensure the framework reflects SOPs, legislation, and field practices Keep the Frameworks question bank updated with current priorities and skills. Project manage annual document reviews and maintain document management and version control. Ensure guidance documents are current and accessible. Consult and inform stakeholders, collaborating with the Academy to align the Competency Framework with apprenticeship programs and manage quality assurance. Manage the Expert Panel processes and coordinate a team of 60 assessors, including training schedules. Monitor assessor data for fairness and consistency, supporting assessors and responding to enquiries promptly. Support learners through assessment processes and manage feedback for continuous improvement. Work with HR to ensure payroll and other processes reflect framework outputs. What You’ll Bring To The Role We are looking for someone with strong stakeholder management and engagement skills with the ability to influence across all levels. Ideally you should have a background in continuous improvement or lean management experience, in a delivery focused role You will be proficient in IT tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Power BI. Project management skills where you have had to plan and prioritise workloads effectively is essential.
